San Lorenzo Montessori CNY Charity Bazaar

It’s never too late to lend a hand to the vulnerable group. This time we were going to offer helps for the Pennan Children.

The Penan are a nomadic indigenous people living in Sarawak and Brunei. They are the minority group that often get neglected by the government or public.

This time, San Lorenzo and Rotary Club joint the forces together, hand in hand to raise the awareness and funds for the children.

The charity bazaar was an exuberant event. Every teacher contributed their best to make things happened by proposing and selling different food, learning materials, groceries, housewares, and many more in order to collect as much as fund from the public; the children also did their best by performing the stage performances confidently; parents showed their supports mentally and physically to this event as well for the unfortunate group.

Never to be forgotten the presence of Club Foundation Chair of Rotary Club – Mr Chiew Teck Wee and Head Department of Medical Science in University Nottingham of Malaysia Campus – Dr Ting Kang Nee for their endless and relentless supports, care and dedications to this event.

The charity event was hyped up with the performance of God of Wealth ( 财神爷）and Lion Dance! Rainbow calligraphy and Clown were there to provide an engaging, entertaining and memorable experience to the public.
